Forget Me Nots on Thoughtcatalog & Film News

The Dark Energy Already Killed Me In One Life, And He’s Not Going Anywhere This Time Around

Hello,

I have some exciting news!  Not only is a large excerpt of Forget Me Nots On Thoughtcatalog on my Arabella Kingsley Page, but I have a film producer in the UK keen for me to finish and submit the film script of the story I began last year before the novel.  So I am going to have to ask you to bear with me because I am going to have to write them both at the same time.  As they are different creative mediums demanding different ways of writing, this isn't going to be easy.  But I am more than keen to make it work.  I would love to see the story made in to a movie.  Watch this space for further news.

I just wanted to say thanks to all of those letting me know what you think of the story both on here and Thoughtcatalog.  Please keep your comments coming in as the novel progresses.  I like to know what you think!

There will be more spooky videos soon and tomorrow a post on my sister blog, Sara & The MIBs about past lives which feature in Forget Me Nots in the American West & Victorian England in the 1890s.  Don't forget you can also read excerpts from my paranormal romance novel, Knight of Swords on there as well!  Catch up with the first before I post the second tomorrow!

Enjoy Forget Me Nots.

Sleep well and don't have nightmares! :)

Two New Orb & Men In Black Videos

Just a quick note to show you two new spooky videos.  The first is of a bright Spirit Orb flying at me in the garden as though it were a shooting star before another appears.

Can anyone else see the ghostly MIB figure at the bottom of the picture????

The second is one I took last night while lying in bed.  I caught a very big Orb that looked a little different.  It comes up out of the bed!  The Orbs appear to look a lot bigger on the recent videos and some flash!  Scary! Lol.  You can also see a MIB face in the picture and one on the wardrobe.  Check it out.

The Ghost In The Shower

Hello,

I have a couple of spooky videos for you tonight.  The first is of the Ghost in the shower!  I was actually taking a video of all the orbs I have been seeing coming out of the wall behind my bed when I noticed I was seeing faces in the shower in the bathroom at the side.  I took a video and although I am reflected in the mirror you can see a Man In Black next to me, a giant face reflected in the glass and another figure!

The second video is of all the orbs I see coming out of the wall as though it is some kind of portal.

Enjoy them both alongside the next excerpt from Forget Me Nots, my ghost romance about past life relationships in the American West & Victorian England, eternal love and murder.

I also have some news!  I will be posting excerpts from my ghost stories on Thoughtcatalog as well as Spiritual Articles in the near future.  Watch this space for updates!

Forget Me Nots Excerpt

Brandon’s eyes suddenly darted to the corner of the claustrophobic room sensing he was not alone.  The black and white transparent ghostly figure was only partially formed and his disjointed appearance was unnerving.

“Get out,” Brandon hissed.  “You can’t form here.  I strengthened the barriers after you appeared in Sarah’s room.  Keep away from her or so help me . . .”

“You’ll do what?”

The spirit streaked across the room to come to a rest on the other side of the desk.  Half of his face was missing and he had no legs.  He leaned over the desk towards Brandon.  The billionaire narrowed his eyes but neither moved or flinched.

“You should know by now, Nathan I always find a way to get to her and stop your reunion.  Don’t think your incarnation in this life as the great rich Brandon Clifford is going to fair any better.  You will not be able to protect her.  She belongs to me and this time I am going to take her with me in to the darkness.”

“I won’t let you take her.  Your reign of terror over her is over,” Brandon said calmly stamping on the rage boiling over inside him.

Hendrick’s half face grinned at him.  But the smile quickly faded.  His head turned to the side as though he could hear something.  He frowned, the one side of his mouth visible twisting.  It was Brandon’s turn to smile.

“They are coming.  Better go before they throw you out,” he warned with menace standing up to get in Hendrick’s face.

“You think I am afraid of a group of Men In Black jackasses who call themselves the Universe’s Army,” Hendrick answered with a sarcastic laugh.

“You should be.  They are here to ensure justice is served and you don’t hurt Sarah ever again,” Brandon was passionate.  “She will face what you did to her and release it.  Then we will be reunited and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it.”

“Oh yes there is Man In Black.  I will take her again.  My hold on her is far too strong for you to break.  The bond between a murderer and a victim is hard to break.  So much anger and hate keeps them entwined forever.”

“It can be broken and it will be.  I will make sure of that.  Get out.”

Brandon called out to the air.

“Take him away,” he ordered.

The air around them shimmered and the black and white outline of two spirit Men In Black appeared.  They jumped on to Hendrick’s parital form making him cry out in agony and then all three disappeared.  Brandon sank back down in the chair and held his head in his hands.

“Damn it, Sarah this is our last chance to get it right.  I won’t lose you.  I won’t let him take you from me forever in to the darkness.  I won’t survive without you.”

Brandon looked up feeling another presence behind him.  The ghost rested his hand on his shoulder.  Brandon looked up to see the part of his soul that had once incarnated as Nathan in the 1800s.

“This time when Sarah faces her death again as Clarissa it will work.  I have no doubts.  This time we will all be free.”

“I felt you make love to her.  It was vibrant and passionate.  It has been so long.  The connection between us is strong again and I want to be with her completely.’

Nathan moved around to the front of Brandon as the billionaire stood straight.  He turned his back and then stepped backwards his transparent form merging with Brandon’s own until the splinter of his soul was safely joined once more with the whole.

Brandon sat back down in the chair and reached for his beer bottle to take another drink.

“Soon Sarah, or Clarissa as you are now calling yourself you will be back in my arms and I won’t ever let you leave again,” he said out loud.  “We are one and always will be.”

Chapter Twelve

Clarissa woke early the next morning around 6am.  The sunlight was trying to blaze through the red curtains already.  It was going to be another hot day.  She wondered if last night had been a dream but her nakedness underneath the covers told her she had not imagined the ghost making love to her.  When was she going to find the courage to call him Nathan?  The slight soreness on her bottom was another potent reminder.  Her cheeks warmed as she remembered.  She glanced at Sarah’s journal over on the dressing table where Brandon had returned it.  She’d never considered the possibility of past lives but after the events of the last few days she had to believe it.  There was no other explanation.  So it begged the question if she was Sarah re-incarnated why was she seeing Sarah as a ghost running around on Goldwater Island?  Maybe she wasn’t Sarah reincarnated but was being possessed by the ghost of her?  She didn’t know.

Frowning as she internally tried to analyse the situation and come up with an answer she got up and showered.  She felt much better than she did yesterday and she was pleased that she could feel no trace of James Hendrick around her.  She was safe.  Dressing in a white sleeveless summer dress and a pretty blue cardigan to keep the sun off her arms she picked up her wide brimmed sun hat & sunglasses and quietly made her way out of the room and out in to the garden to read before Brandon was up.  She sat down on a wrought iron chair at the bottom of the garden under the shade of the trees and opened Sarah’s journal.

Sarah

We didn’t see James Hendrick again for almost a year.  In that time I was deliriously happy.  Nathan and I grew more in love with each other and finally we married.  We were so young when I think of it now.  But I never wanted to be with any other but him.

The farm made Nathan feel trapped.  He didn’t want to end up like his brothers stuck there out of duty and guilt.  He wanted a better life for us both.  One of his friends talked to him about his plans to go and find Gold and asked if he wanted to come.  He was very eager.  Naturally I wanted to go with him but he’d heard that the life was hard and no place for a lady and especially for his wife and he forbid it.  We agreed he would try for one year and then return home.  I was heartbroken when he left.  It felt as though my heart were being torn from my body.

Clarissa began to vividly pictures the scenes as she continued to read.  But this time there was a distance and she was not consumed by them.

Nathan was finishing saddling his horse and talking to his friend who waited patiently on horseback for him when Sarah walked outside carrying a small posy of forget me nots.  There were tears in her eyes but she kept them firmly at bay.  Nathan caught her in his arms touched by her bravery.

“What’s this?” he gently asked looking down at the flowers.

She tried to smile.

“Something to help you remember me, us,” she said softly.

Nathan smiled and shook his head as he pulled her in to his arms.

“You believe I will forget?” he said with disbelief holding her as tight as he could to provide her with warmth and reassurance of his love and loyalty to their bond.

Sarah did not speak but bend her head to hide her tears and fears that he would discard her, forget her existence and find another.

Nathan tucked his fingers underneath her chin and raised her face.

“You are my world, Sarah.  I am doing this for you and the life I want to give you.  I will always be true to you.  Never doubt me.”

He kissed her hard.

‘Listen, I will write to you and send you the forget me nots pressed in the letter as soon as get there.  Then you can write back to me and send them back.  We can keep exchanging them.  This will reassure you I have never forgotten you and you are always in my thoughts.”

Sarah nodded clearly pleased with the idea.

“A year will pass quickly, my love.  Wait for me.”

Another kiss sealed their love and then Sarah watched him mount his horse and ride away with his friend.

A week later James Hendrick was to return to claim Sarah as his own and do all in his power to keep her apart from Nathan.

Clarissa closed the book and putting it on the table a distance away from her, the familiar nausea twisting in her stomach at the mention of James Hendrick’s name.  She didn’t want to read it, didn’t want to be forced to remember.  She rubbed her arms feeling a sudden chill despite the warm sun.  She looked around waiting to see Hendrick but nothing.
A crow squawked in one of the trees that circled the Island and drew her attention.  She stared at its black plumage feeling a sense of foreboding.  Something was coming.  She stood up quickly feeling anxiety tingle every nerve ending in her body and propel her in to action.  Clarissa wanted to run.  For the first time since she’d arrived on Goldwater Island she felt trapped instead of safe and secure.  She rubbed her arms and stared in to the trees.  Maybe she could take one of the row boats she saw at the boathouse and just row herself back to the town.  The urge to escape was so strong she started to walk along the path through the trees to the shore with a quick pace as though something was chasing her.

Up ahead a dark figure crossed the path making Clarissa jump and come to a halt.  Sarah

“Wait,” Clarissa called after her.

But she disappeared amongst the trees.  Clarissa took after her determined to get some answers.  The crow flapped its wings overhead following her.  She caught another glimpse of Sarah’s long lustrous black hair and heard the rustle of her long black Victorian dress.  It spurred her on.  The woman was leading her down to the shore.  The water lapped nosily at the shore as she emerged from the trees on the grassy bank above the short pebble beach.  Sarah was nowhere to be seen.  Clarissa growled frustrated the ghost was playing games with her.  Anxiety racked her body once more making her shake.  The urge to escape the confines of the Island was once more overwhelming.  Tears and emotion welled inside her chest and stomach.  The feeling was so strong she let out a loud sob and clutched at her chest.  She couldn’t breathe.  Emotion was consuming her and she couldn’t fathom the reason why.

Clarissa looked out over the water towards the town on the shore desperately wanting to leave and escape the pain swirling around her on the Island.  The sun was bright, hot and high in the cobalt blue cloudless sky.  It was peaceful yet inside her a tempest raged.  A feeling of claustrophobia washed over her.  It made her dizzy.  She leaned towards a tree and clutched at it to support her swaying form.

Maybe I could just bloody swim for it.

She pushed on down the bank walking through the carpet of Forget Me Nots desperate to reach the shore.  She wasn’t anywhere near the boathouse.  It was further to the East side of the Island and she was on the corner of the West.  She had to leave now and the thoughts of wasting more time going to the boathouse filled her with anger.

Clarissa removed her cardigan and took off her hat tossing them to ground.  There was no way she was going to stay trapped on the Island.  She had always been a good swimmer.  She would make it and if she didn’t then she would call out to one of the small rowing boats already milling around the Island to help her.  Time wasn’t on her side.  Brandon would be searching the grounds and would drag her back to the house no doubt to carry out his threat and lock her in her room and tie her to the bed to force her to rest.

Clarissa pulled off her black wedge sandals and walked awkwardly over the pebbles to get to the water.  She stubbed her toe on a sharp stone sticking out between the smooth flat surface of the pebbles and cried out.  Clarissa bent down to rub her toe noticing it was bleeding.  She heard footsteps and the brush of a long dress.  A flash of black passed her on the beach by at a quick pace.  Startled she looked up to see Sarah’s figure darting through the trees.  Another streak of black silk had her whirling around to search the ghost out.  But nothing.  She was gone again.

A single leaf fell from one of the trees and floated down in her line of vision.  It was quickly followed by another and another until all of the trees were lost their leaves.  Clarissa stared at the trees as they grew bare and the sky clouded over to block out the summer sun.  From behind a cold North wind began to blow at her back.  It made the water choppy and lose its deep blue turning it grey.  It had to be another vision.  She couldn’t be sure.  Reality kept blurring with Sarah’s life.  Was she reliving another one of Sarah’s past life memories or had she somehow travelled back in time.
